Are you interested in attending the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE) 2026?
FNCE will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, from October 24 to October 27, 2026. FNCE is a wonderful opportunity for all RDN2Bs (students / interns) to have an unforgettable professional and networking experience, plus it’s a lot of fun, too!
One of our generous members, who requests to remain anonymous, is offering a round-trip airline ticket to one student/intern to attend the 2026 FNCE. The round-trip ticket will be for Southwest Airlines and must match one of the following options:
1) Depart from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to San Antonio International airport (SAT) and return to MCI.
2) Depart from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to San Antonio International airport (SAT) and return to STL.
Also, the round-trip ticket selected must be the least expensive option for your travel days (look for “Go for Less” when navigating Southwest’s online website). Applicants must be a member of the Academy/MOAND and submit the following items:
1. Essay/statement including (100- 250 words total):
Reasons why you would like to attend FNCE
Statement of financial need
2. Letter of support from your advisor/professor (100-250 words), which includes your potential as a future nutrition leader.
The winner will be selected by the MoAND Recognition Team in consultation with the donor by August 1, 2026. The donor will work with the winner and book tickets. The application period will close on July 17, 2026.

This August, volunteers are invited to support the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri by helping sort, pack, and distribute food for families in need. This opportunity is a great way to give back to the community while making a direct impact on reducing food insecurity during the winter months. By working together, volunteers can help ensure neighbors across the region have access to nutritious meals.
