Position Description

This course combines classroom learning activities with hands-on cooking labs to provide an overview of fundamental cooking principles and food preparation. Students will develop proficiency in a variety of cooking skills including professional knife use, the proper execution of various cooking techniques and the identification and selection of a variety of food ingredients. Class will meet 2 days a week.

Minimum Qualifications

Instructor position requires a minimum of a master's degree in culinary, food and nutrition, or closely related areas.

Instructor position requires a minimum of a master's degree in culinary, food and nutrition, or closely related areas. Teaching and management experience in nutrition and food service preferred
