2026 MOAND Legislative Day

Join the Missouri Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for our 2026 Legislative Day, a premier opportunity for experiential learning in state policy and advocacy. This year, we are focusing on HB 1961 / SB 1339, legislation supporting the Interstate Dietitian Licensure Compact and temporary licensure for recent graduates. From students to seasoned professionals, this day allows you to move from theory to practice by engaging directly with state legislators in Missouri's beautiful statehouse. Participants will apply the elevator pitch skills from our virtual public policy workshop through coordinated legislative visits, observe floor sessions, and represent the profession during formal recognition in the House and Senate galleries.
