Join us for a networking event with Southeast Region MOAND members and hear from Christine Schrader, IBCLC, Nutrition Coordinator and Breastfeeding Strategy Lead with the Missouri Physical Activity and Nutrition (MPAN) Program. MPAN includes focus on improving breastfeeding continuity of care throughout Missouri through policy, systems and environmental changes supportive of breastfeeding. Come learn about MPAN initiatives, lactation education* opportunities, and how you can get involved to promote breastfeeding throughout your practice, business, community, and Southeast Missouri. 1 CPEU Pending.

*Learn how students and preceptors for Southeast Missouri State University Applied Nutrition Program can get their Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) training offered by Lactation Education Resources, along with other lactation education opportunities applicable towards the pathway to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
