Responsibilities:	Recruit, coordinate and lead nutrition education and hands-on-cooking programs at area agencies, for our Topeka office. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILIES: •Cultivate new agencies & build relationships with coordinators & participants at nutrition program sites. •Serve as the primary staff representative for the scheduling, training and monitoring of Project STRENGTH, Kids In the Kitchen and Train the Trainer. •Interpret nutrition curriculums into exciting, fun, easy to understand lessons & teach to low-income participants in a hands-on cooking demonstration class format. •Work closely with the Nutrition Services Manager & the Nutrition Education Department in curriculum writing & revision of programs. •Collect & report data from participants & program sites into Nutrition Database. •Secure food to be used in nutrition classes & provide for care and security of Harvesters’ equipment. •Connect agencies inspired by Harvesters demonstration garden with resources to grow food.
