About Us
If you have a health concern that is caused or affected by the food you eat, then you are one of the thousands of Missourians who can benefit from the experience and training of a Registered Dietitian. MDA is a professional organization which represents more than 1300 dietitians who are committed to maintaining high professional standards and to improving the nutrition health of Missourians.
The Mission of MDA is to be the advocate of the dietetic profession serving the public through the promotion of optimal nutrition, health, and well being. MDA promotes sound nutrition to the public and monitors and responds to issues that have food, nutrition and health implications.

MDA and its members (dietetic professionals) will be pursued for their professional knowledge by industry, government and the public. - VISION II:
MDA members will serve as a vehicle for supporting and encouraging continuous professional development for its members. - VISION III:
